What is a Tween Session? It's a documentary portrait experience for boys and girls in grades 4-7 that celebrates what makes them unique, helps to inspire a deeper sense of self confidence and aims to make them feel more comfortable in their own skin.

This session focuses on your Tween as they are - full of personality and showcasing what interests them.

And the best part? Tweens get to have fun posing for portraits, parents get beautiful professional portraits of their Tween, and partial proceeds go to benefit Maryhurst. It's a win-win-win!

What to Expect

Free Consultation

We will start with a free 20 minute call in which we will get acquainted and discuss your goals for the session, what your Tween wants to wear/bring to the shoot, the best ways to display your images, the price list and a date for the session that works for you!

Session Day

This is the easy part - show up, smile, and have a great time.

Plan for the shoot to last about an hour.

Image Viewing

After your session, you will select a time to view your images which can be done in-person or on Zoom.

At that time, you will review and select your favorites, see samples of product offerings, and place your order.

FAQs

How long is the Session?

Tween Sessions last about an hour. I suggest bringing a change of clothes and a prop to the session to add to the variety.

Will I get the digital images from my Session?

Prints, Products, and Digital Images are not included in your Session Fee, but can be purchased separately either a la carte or as part of a Print/Product Collection.

What is your favorite product to display my images?

My favorite product is our Session Book. It's kinda like a yearbook for that moment in your Tween's life.

What can we expect in terms of an investment?

Session Fee for a Tween Session is $99. Prints start at $15. Collections start at $199. A portion of the proceeds from every Tween Session goes to support Maryhurst's mission.
